MBSCET, Jammu and NITK, Surathkal hosted a webinar on Virtual Labs to boost remote learning and digital India

Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET), Jammu and National Institute of Technology (NITK), Karnataka, Surathkal joined hand to promote digital Learning in the J&K (UT). In pursuit of the same a webinar was organized jointly by NITK, Surathkal and MBSCET, Jammu on August 26, 2022. The objective of the webinar was to train the faculty members in conducting virtual labs in the field of engineering and sciences. The virtual labs is an online platform where the experiments can be performed without the physical instruments or machinery. The beneficiaries of the event will be the aspiring candidates who want to do engineering rather than just read engineering.

The event was hosted by Dr. Ritesh Sharma (Associate professor), Department of Mechanical Engineering, MBSCET, Jammu and chaired by Prof. K.V. Gangadharan, Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Head of the Centre for System Design, President, Institute Innovation Council, NITK, Surathkal. Dr. Sheena, Associate Professor, School of Management NITK Surathkal was the guest of honor.
