- One day workshop on Python Language is conducted in MCA Department of MBSCET by IITS. Students Of MCA Department actively participated in this Workshop as focus is on to meet the industry trends in order to compete in the global IT world.S.Balbir Singh Expert from IITS provided hands on experience to every student so that maximum practical work should be performed and more students get benefit from it. On this Occasion Principal Dr.Anjani Kumar appreciated this type of workshops in the college in order to attain knowledge of current IT trends so that Students are able to compete in an efficient manner. - A Three day workshop is conducted in PG Department of Computer Application,MCA,MBSCET, Jammu by Mr. Puneet Arora Director ecological Corporation on PHP , he also trained students on Code Ignitor and latest technology.The motive behind this workshop is to practically trained students on live projects so that students are able to develop projects on their own. Students from various Departments Like CSE,IT and MCA actively participated.Present among others were Mr.Amrik Singh(V.P),Mr. Parveen Singh(Dean Academic),Mr.H.S. - Students of PG Department of Computer Application on December 2017-18,MBSCET along with Faculty member attended the One Day Workshop on MeditationTechniques at Dumphukat Sainik Colony Jammu. An international Trainer Mr.Arun Kumar trained the students,faculties as well personalities of different professions from different districts of Jammu the advanced techniques on meditation.In a eight hour Workshop cum lecture in which practical has been done along with teaching to effectively benefit the student performance in exams as well as different success mantras has been given to become successful and prosperous person.At the Final session certificates will be distributed among participants for successful completion of one day workshop.
- A special session is conducted on March 2018 in PG Department of Computer Application,MBSCET, Jammu by industry expert Mr.Jaswinder Singh of Google India in order to aware students about importance of resume and how resume is designed so that students will compete in a better way in order to attain better placements in MNC and global markets.Students from various Departments Like CSE,IT and MCA actively participated.
- PG Department of Computer Application has organized a programme based on spiritual technology first-ever in J&K. The expert person Mr. Arun shared the technique, his experience and provided various tips and techniques of this spiritual technology which will help the students to channelize their energy in a efficient way. He demonstrated the technique that include motivation, meditation, stress management and various performance enhancer techniques that he ensured would definitely help students to perform better in exams as well in corporate sector and ultimately attain success with satisfaction. This techniques was only taught to students of top level institutes, bureaucrats, Multinational companies, doctors and professionals in various fields but now its made to reach to common mass. Mr. Arun is Software Engineer by profession and also one of the Senior Trainer of this technique called YPV (All India Level) from Sri Raman Trust ,Tamil Nadu. Head of the Department, Mrs.Pooja Sharma presented vote of thanks to Mr. Arun for delivering such a dynamic lecture.
- P.G Department of Computer Applications of MBSCET organized a guest lecture on “Advanced Computer Techniques”. Professor Pawanesh Kumar Abrol, Department Of Computer Science And IT, University of Jammu was the expert resource person who delivered a lecture on “Advanced Computer Techniques” . He also motivated the students to explore the ideas and focus on real time applications as technology is changing rapidly and there is a lot of scope in IT industry in India as well as abroad. The Chairman of the College Prof.(Dr.) O.S. Sudan welcomed the guest lecturer, appreciated and encouraged the staff and college authorities to initiate such type of events for motivation and awareness of technical skills of the students in particular. Present among others were Vice Principal Prof. Amrik Singh, Dr A.S Sudan(O.S.D), Ms. Pooja Sharma (HOD MCA), Faculty members and students of MCA 1st ,3rd and 5 th semester. Ms. Vaishali Malhotra, from MCA Deptt. presented welcome address while Ms. Pooja Sharma(HOD) presented vote of thanks.
